information_schema
MySQL 自带一个数据库 information_schema ,这个数据库用于记录 MySQL 数据库的基本信息,比如数据库名,数据库的表,表栏的数据类型与访问权限等。

TABLES 表里记录的就是数据库中各个表的基础信息。

查看表大小
TABLES 字段 DATA_LENGTH 即是表数据大小,INDEX_LENGTH 是索引文件大小。我们这里计算表大小包含数据和索引。
计算数据库mars_forum中所有表大小:
